Qualifications

  • Love God. Believe and confess that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9-10, Luke 10:27)
  • Love people. Love teenagers, children, youth leaders, neighborhood residents, and fellow staff. (Luke 10:27)
  • Desire to serve God and others. Believe in Christian service through word and deed. (Eph. 2:10, I John 3:18)

Expectations

  • Be in caring relationships with teenagers, children, youth leaders, staff, and neighborhood residents.
  • Pray. Listen to God for direction; pray for neighborhood needs, one another, and spiritual protection.
  • Live in community. Be willing to live with other staff for the summer, putting their needs ahead of your own.
  • Represent The Boston Project with integrity to the community and the participants.
  • Commit to the summer schedule.
  • Be flexible & expect to sacrifice.
