It takes many committed people to lead our summer programs, and we hope you find your place to serve here. Below is a list of positions available for The Boston Project's Summer Programs. Click on a job title to see a more detailed job description.

Summer Missions Program

Assistant Director of the SMP (1) - This senior leadership position is designed to help provide close spiritual and logistical support to the Program Directors and Staff Counselors while also facilitating good communication with the Directors and Coordinators. Previous leadership experience in a similar field highly desired.

Program Directors (2) - Leaders among leaders, and servants among servants. Provide spiritual direction for a youth group's trip to Boston, offer pastoral care for a staff team, and oversee program and staffing logistics.

Staff Counselors (9) - The core of the SMP staff. Love and disciple teenagers from around the country as you lead six weeks of service-missions trips in Boston.

Service and Outreach Coordinators (1) - Our connection to the community. Build on relationships with neighbors and community organizations to plan, oversee, maintain, and evaluate all service and outreach projects. Monday-Friday full-time.

Cuisine Coordinator & Assistant (1 filled - 1 assistant position open) - Nobody goes hungry. Oversee all aspects of the SMP food preparation and service. The Assistant CC works full or part-time in the kitchen during meal preparation, cleaning, and can assist with other food service operations.

Neighborhood Youth Ministries

Staff Counselors (3) - Let the little children come to you. Extend Christ's love and gospel to children and teenagers. Cooperate to plan and lead daily programs for neighborhood children. Mentor teenagers through a first-time job experience. Disciple youth through Bible studies and genuine relationships.
