The Boston Project offers a unique and powerful service & missions trip for youth groups. We challenge youth to serve whole-heartedly in our community and to think critically about how God's Word speaks to social and spiritual issues. God uses the experience to make an eternal impact on youth and those they serve.
Holistic Ministry
Jesus was passionate about loving the whole person, and so is The Boston Project. For us, this means that we involve youth in meeting people's physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs. While we do not plan evangelism-only events, we encourage teenagers to share the love of God through their actions and when possible, their words.
When you leave Boston... We don't
100% of the service your youth are involved in is a direct result of almost two decades of ministry in our community. We partner with people committed to meaningful relationships with those in need to accomplish many different Christ-centered goals. We do not "go home" at the end of the summer - Boston is our home, and we serve here all year long.Be Ready to Receive
There is more to service than giving - we expect that you also come ready to receive. Whether it is a wise word from a senior citizen or a blunt rebuke by a homeless veteran, God speaks into our lives when we choose to serve him with our ears and hearts open.
Variety of Service
Our passion is for your youth to discover their unique gifts and talents as they serve. That's why we ensure that every youth is involved in a variety of service and outreach projects. Each day, we split up into several service and outreach teams. During the week, we mix up these teams and where they go so that youth have the opportunity to serve with most of their team members on a variety of projects. How will we serve?
- Home repairs for widows and senior residents
- Serving lunch to homeless women and children
- Improving city parks and playgrounds
- Landscaping for small local churches
- Renovating new space for a homeless ministry
- Refurbishing computers to give away to families
- Being extra staff at summer day camps
- Fixing up a Christian school for its grand opening
- Sorting thousands of pounds of food for distribution
- ...and many more!
