What Are Youth Leaders Saying?

A complete spiritual, physical, social, and emotional mission trip package for youth groups! The staff is one of the great things about The Boston Project. I love the “staff family” attitude. What a wonderful environment to serve in! BP is better than any vacation or retreat I’ve been on. The Boston Project doesn’t have us come here for a week to transform the lives of others. We are brought here for God to transform us into a life long change to help others. – Robyn Buck, First Presbyterian Church of Newport, RI

The Boston Project experience offers a challenging growth opportunity for teams that is unparalleled in my short-term missions experiences.
– Ken, Missions Pastor, West Congregational Church, Haverhill, MA

A busy week filled with hard work, amazing teachings, eye-opening experiences, great food, a loving staff, and God’s rich blessings.
– Kenneth Hwang, New Haven Korean Church, CT

A good mix of action and thought. Our students were able to do meaningful work as well as think through their responsibility as Christians to serve. The fact that the staff is with the kids 24/5 is HUGE. I know it is a lot to ask of them but it is enormously constructive – some of the very special 1-on-1 time was in the late evening.
– Kevin Baird, Hamilton Congregational Church, Hamilton, MA

Imagine the hardest work you’ve ever done, the most sweat you’ve ever poured out, pulling as a team to accomplish the task…and to rest, knowing God smiles at you through the laughter of a child in the playground you just built.
– Rocky Chan, Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston, MA

The Boston Project is one missions project that is truly worth a multi-year commitment.
– Ruben Cabrera, First Baptist Church of Toms River, NJ

What Are Teenagers Saying?

The Boston Project is the most amazing trip I’ve ever been on. No matter how hard I tried, there’s no way I could keep God from making major renovations in my heart. – David, MA

You work real hard, play real hard, love real hard, and live real hard. But most of all, God works real hard on you, to bring you to him.
– Russell, PA

The StarPower game [society simulation] really did an outstanding job at simulating real life. It challenged me to stop thinking about myself and realize that I can live and give at the same time. The nightly activities brought me to the place where I felt like I was at the feet of God. The profoundness of the things we learned in prayer stations was mind-boggling. The small groups brought us so close and really stretched our comfort zones. The worship time was off the wall and out of control. We praised God like none other. We shook the heavens.
– Dave, NJ

Every experience in life is a once in a lifetime experience; the ones experienced at the Boston Project last a lifetime!
– Ben, CT

I found God for the first time on this trip.
– Josh, ME

Real exposure to God, people, and most of all to ourselves. I was deeply challenged to view life with a God-centered perspective.
– Brian, CT

What Are Teenagers Saying About Boston Project Staff?

The staff didn’t leave anyone behind - they didn’t forget anyone. I wasn’t ignored because people actually PAID ATTENTION to what I had to say. I felt loved by them. That’s all that matters. – Rich, MA

The most memorable experiences were when I spoke with the counselors 1-on-1. I feel that God reached out to me through the staff. They helped me in reaching out to God, and that helped me in deciding to become a Christian!
– Neath, MA (became a Christian during the week at The Boston Project)

I loved how the staff made themselves available and that they cared about you growing in your faith.
– Michelle, CT

They were good teachers and friends.
– Lindsay, CT

I felt loved by the staff.
– Laura, CT

The staff was awesome – organized, mature, passionate, worked really well with our youth.
– Lillian, adult leader, MA

I have been to numerous activities that have involved staff and their help. I have never felt so connected to people who were involved because they wanted to be involved. [One staff member] has given me a new and different perspective of how we live through and serve through Christ Jesus.
– Amanda, RI

They really have a burning love for God.
– Yun, MA

I love the way we connected to the staff. They all took a genuine interest in us and really cared about our lives and walks with Christ.
– Kevin, MA
