Season Greetings to All Our Friends

Serving at the Christmas Banquet.
The holiday season is a wonderful time of year; and since 2001, The Boston Project in partnership with Starlight Ministries, has been hosting a great Christmas Banquet for those homeless.

This time of year brings so many of us home to spend time with friends and family, to enjoy good food, and to take time to be thankful for the abundant blessings in our lives. It is our desire to provide a great Christmas feast for those who are currently in need.

One gentleman arrived at the Christmas Banquet this year and said, "Last year, I ate somewhere else before I came here, but this year I remembered how good the food was, and I haven't eaten anything all day waiting for this Christmas feast!"

The Christmas Banquet is held on the second Saturday in December at the Emmanuel Gospel Center. We serve dinner for 75-100 people each year.

Thank You!

Giving the gift of Christmas cheer.
In the past, many of you have been generous with food donations, financial gifts, and your time in serving. The resources that go into this event are numerous - the preparation time, volunteers, outreach and advertising, and of course, the food! You can play an important role in helping make this Christmas a great one for others. Consider as a church, family, or individual to contribute to the Christmas Banquet needs.

Many financial donations were also received to help cover the cost of Christmas napkins, silverware, plates, cups, tablecloths, table decorations, additional food items, and poinsettias. Thank you again. You may Donate Online or mail your gift to The Boston Project, 670 Washington Street, Dorchester, MA 02124.

We pray that all may enjoy celebrating the Reason for the Christmas season throughout the year.
