Fall 2010 Service Days

Spend a service day with The Boston Project and experience an introduction to our ministry, a scripture-based devotion, and 2-6 hours of service addressing needs in Boston. Park Patrol - Youth Champions for Green Space

This summer 2010 we will hire 20 teenagers to be involved in Park Patrol - a leadership/job development program - focused on improving and creating new green space in our neighborhood. The young people are transforming 106 Norfolk Street into a new community garden and will host activities for children at the Elmhurst Street Playground. Contact Paul to learn more.

Project Angel Wings Clean Up - April & May

Neighbors are invited to join us on our two spring clean up days at the historic Codman Burying Ground along Norfolk Street on Saturday, April 25 (Boston Shines) and Saturday May 16 from 1:00-4:00 PM. Second Church in Dorchester is planning a special event here for Memorial Day, Monday, May 25 from 1:00-4:00 PM to celebrate our veterans and the history in this place.

2009 College Spring Break

It's not too late to plan for your school's college spring break. Bring a team to Boston to serve alongside outreach ministries throughout our city. Check out our web section and available dates.

Winter Weekend Service Retreats

We are now registering adult, college, and high school groups for weekend service retreats. Join us from Friday night through Sunday afternoon for an intense and meaningful urban immersion and service experience. Groups from 10-25 welcome. Cost is approximately $90 per person. We have openings in January-February 2009.

Small Engine Repair Needed

Our summer Service & Outreach is often impacted by the number of working lawnmowers we have. We are in need of a person who has experience with small engine repair to help us for a day or two this spring servicing our mowers. Currently 7 out of 9 lawn mowers are in need of repair. Contact to help in this way.

April School Vacation

We invite youth groups to join us for a mini-missions trip during April school vacation (April 18-21, 2007). This all-inclusive service trip includes your housing, meals, programs, and hands-on service projects. Cost is $175 per person. Contact us for more information.

February Vacation Service Days

We invite youth groups to join us for a day of service during February school vacation (Feb 19-23, 2007). Service projects vary based on group size and current needs. Suggested donation of $10-$20 per person. Contact us about your interest.

Spring Break Service Retreats

Christian college and high school groups are welcome to contact us about scheduling one-day or week-long service retreats in Boston. We can schedule the logistics of your time here as needed, including housing, food, and service & outreach projects. Suggested financial donations or tuition costs vary based on needs.
