Christmas Banquet for the Homeless - Delicious

We want to thank Newton Junction Baptist Church, Joy, Sister Phillips, and Boston Project staff for helping prepare and serve a delicious home-cooked meal at our 8th annual Christmas Banquet for those who are homeless with Starlight Ministries. Some have commented that this is the best Christmas dinner in Boston!

Black Friday-Cyber Monday Fundraising Success

Thanks to everyone who gave a gift online between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. You helped raise an additional $5,130 towards furthering our community outreach. Your gift will allow us to provide Christmas celebrations for 30+ children, a banquet for the homeless, and continue our neighborhood work. Donate online today.

Homework Center Volunteers Needed

College students and adults are invited to help youth ages 4-16 at our drop-in Homework Center. Flexible volunteer hours available on Monday or Thursday evenings or Tuesday through Thursday afternoons. Contact us or use our online volunteer application. This is a good match for school internships and work study students.

Christmas Banquet for those Homeless

We need your help by providing some home-cooked food for our 8th annual Christmas Banquet for those who are homeless. On Saturday, December 13, 2008 we will hosting this unique festive feast with Starlight Ministries. Check out our Christmas Menu or consider a financial donation to help cover costs. Some have commented this is one of the best Christmas dinners in Boston!

Saying Goodbye (sniff, sniff)

With joy and sadness, we share that three of our wonderful staff are headed off this December 2008. Kelly Desmarais, Katie Rice, and Catrina Labrie impacted our youth and volunteers in hundreds of ways. Click on their name to send them an email of appreciation. We will miss them immensely.
