Planting 3,000 Tulips for Spring Splash of Color

Come join us on Saturday, October 25 and November 8, to help plant 3,000 tulips along the fence line of the historic Codman Burying Ground. This massive effort is to help transform this cemetery from a place symbolizing death and abandonment to one characterized by light and life! Contact Paul if you would like to volunteer.

Park Community Build A Blast!

On Saturday, October 18, 2008 neighbors came together with volunteers from Citizens Bank to build the play equipment for our new park and to clean our neighborhood. Check out our photo gallery to view the fun. Contact us for more information about the new Elmhurst Street "neighborhood backyard."

Food for Thanksgiving Baskets

This Thanksgiving we will help provide over 100 Thanksgiving Baskets to local families. We are collecting can items such as corn, peas, cranberry sauce, and pie filling; dry goods such as stove top stuffing, bread mixes; 14-20 lb turkeys; and 64 oz bottles of cran juices. All donations must arrive at The Boston Project's home by Friday, November 21, 2008.

Winter Weekend Service Retreats

We are now registering adult, college, and high school groups for weekend service retreats. Join us from Friday night through Sunday afternoon for an intense and meaningful urban immersion and service experience. Groups from 10-25 welcome. Cost is approximately $90 per person. We have openings in January-February 2009.

Thanks! Yard Sale Success

Thank you to everyone who contributed items to our fall Columbus Day yard sale - especially Trinitarian Congregational Church of Wayland. The weather was beautiful and we raised over $2,600 towards our neighborhood outreach ministries. Watch for notices about our upcoming May 2009 yard sale.

Thank You for School Supplies!

Dozens of churches and families donated school supplies this year to help youth and children excel academically. We couldn't have done it without you! School supplies are distributed primarily in September and October, but we accept donations throughout the year.
