Small Engine Repair Needed

Our summer Service & Outreach is often impacted by the number of working lawnmowers we have. We are in need of a person who has experience with small engine repair to help us for a day or two this spring servicing our mowers. Currently 7 out of 9 lawn mowers are in need of repair. Contact to help in this way.

Lee Academy Pilot School - Family Volunteer Day

We are excited to be working with the Lee Academy Pilot School and People Making a Difference to organize a Family Volunteer Day on Saturday, May 3, 2008 to clean up the outdoor classroom, around the playgrounds, and to have a groundbreaking ceremony for our upcoming school yard beautifications.

Refrigerator & Dryer Needed Soon

The Boston Project is in need of a relatively new large capacity refrigerator and an electric dryer to help with housing for our summer staff team (20+ young adults!). Depending on distance, we may be able to come and pick up the item(s). Contact to schedule a donation.

Historic Burial Ground Rebeautification

Extra hands are welcome to join us on Saturday, May 10, 2008 for our first clean up of the year on the historic Codman Burial Ground. Volunteers from Second Church in Dorchester, Park Street Church, Boston Trinity Academy, and neighbors will be working together to paint a fence, mow the lawn, clean up debris in anticipation of a Memorial Day opening. CCDA Training Institute

We co-hosted our first ever Boston CCDA Training Institute this past March 28-29, 2008. It was a great time of learning and coming together of like-hearted people. Watch for details for our fall 2008 institute and recent testimonies on our www.ccdaboston.org website.

Boston Shines!

Join with neighbors from the Talbot-Norfolk Triangle and The Boston Project Ministries in a city-wide spring cleaning effort on Saturday, April 26, 2008. Meet at the future Elmhurst Street Children's Park at 9:30 AM to join 60+ volunteers to tackle cleaning the park, New England Ave, and two other sites. Free Jamaican lunch for all volunteers followed by a kids vs. adults kickball game.
