Being Thankful for My Community

A force of over 40 volunteers braved frigid temperatures (36+ degrees) and windy conditions on Saturday, December 3, 2005, to assist two seniors with leaf raking, beautify the future site of the Elmhurst Street Children’s Park, and clean litter, leaves, and illegally dumped debris from the sidewalks of New England Avenue. Thank you to all who supported this event.
