Collecting Items for Fall Yard Sale
On Friday-Saturday, September 24-25, we will host our Annual Fall Yard Sale to raise funds for our Neighborhood Outreach Ministries. If you have been cleaning out this summer, send your treasures to The Boston Project. Household items, furniture, toys, glassware, and more is appreciated. Limited pick up is available - contact us.

Collecting School Supplies for Children
Binders, notebooks, pens, markers, crayons, and more are needed to help provide school supplies to 100+ children and teenagers this fall. Watch for good sales! All donations can be sent to The Boston Project at 15 Elmhurst St., Dorchester, MA 02124. We're still collecting items through mid-September.

The General Operating Fund is a crucial, yet often unnoticed part of our ministry's budget. That is, until it runs out... The General Fund makes possible our Neighborhood Youth Ministry and Community Development outreach initiatives. Our 2010 need is $72,000. Volunteer at our Homework Center
College students and adults are invited to help youth ages 4-16 at our drop-in Homework Center. Flexible volunteer hours available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoons (late September-May). Contact us to learn more or to receive a volunteer application. This is a good match for school internships and work study students.
The Spot - Teen Cafe
Designed and led by teenagers, The Spot in Codman Square is a safe place to hang out Thursday evenings with other teens. Weekly raffles, video games, dominoes, free food, music, dancing, and chat happening at 12 Southern Ave (next to the Walgreens). Special 25 minute program each night. Open every Thursday from 7:00 - 9:30 PM from now until September 9.
Family Fun Nights @ Elmhurst Park
Neighbors of all ages are invited to join us on Monday nights at the Elmhurst Park for Family Fun Night. Events like a ice cream sundaes, bingo, Hawaiian luau, movies, and a talent show are planned for this summer. Monday beginning at 7:00 PM.

Fall 2010 Service Days
Spend a service day with The Boston Project and experience an introduction to our ministry, a scripture-based devotion, and 2-6 hours of service addressing needs in Boston. Open to youth, college, and adult groups. A $10-$20 per person donation is appreciated. Contact Keith for available dates. Currently scheduling Fall 2010.
Build a New Community Garden With Us
We now have our new community garden design for 106 Norfolk Street in the Talbot-Norfolk Triangle. Join us this summer as we build this garden together as neighbors and volunteers. Contact Paul to volunteer or sign up for a garden plot (20 plots available - 50% for children/youth and 50% for adults).
2010 Summer Mission Program
Now entering its 15th year, our summer short-term missions trips for junior high and high school youth groups is open for registration. We host teams from 5-30, offering a Bible-based experiential education with service rooted in year-round community development work. Check out our web section and available dates.
