Weekend Service Retreat - Request Form
Weekend Service Retreats are designed for groups who want to take steps in understanding and engaging in God's work in Boston. You will experience our urban community by simply being here, talking with residents, and worshipping with a local church family. We will engage your team with meaningful hands-on service projects that sustain and encourage long-term ministry efforts in our neighborhood. Together we will explore Scripture to discover God's heart for a just society and how we can become more compassionate and effective followers of Christ.
What Does a Weekend Look Like?
Your weekend retreat will include an orientation to Boston, service projects on Saturday, devotional material and learning activities, and Sunday worship at a local church. Weekend retreats typically go from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon. Boston Project staff will spend the entire weekend with your team and work side-by-side.Who Can Come?

- Men's or women's ministry groups
- Family ministry teams
We place a special priority on hosting churches that have a long-term relationship with The Boston Project Ministries.
When Can We Come?
We operate Weekend Service Retreats throughout the academic year (September-May). We are also open to hosting multiple-day trips on weekdays, holidays, and school breaks as we are able. At this time we do not have the capacity to host weekend retreats during the summer due to our large summer programs. Feel free to call or submit a request form about potential dates you have in mind.
What Does The Boston Project Provide?
Our Service Retreats include:- Overnight housing
- Food (Friday late night snack through Sunday lunch.)
- Service & Outreach supplies
- Devotional material & evening programming
- BP staff with you throughout the retreat
Costs and Registration
We ask for a $90 per person donation for our Weekend Service Retreats.Once we approve specific dates for your retreat, a non-refundable Group Deposit of $200 is due to officially reserve these dates. Your final payment (based on $90 per person) is due two weeks before you arrive.
