Organizing the clothes at Starlight Ministries.

The Boston Project is proud to partner with organizations helping the homeless and people in need such as Starlight Ministries and Rosie's Place. In addition to volunteering within their programs, we also like to help by collecting clothes for the men, women, and youth who access their services.

At this time due to a small staff size and limited storage, we are not able to receive clothing donations. Please directly contact the following organizations:

Clothing items should arrive washed and folded. Please label on the bag who the items are for and a general description of what is inside.

Starlight Ministries

  • New men's and women's underwear (including women's maternity underwear)
  • New white tube socks
  • Men's and women's shirts, sweaters, and sweatshirts
  • Men's jeans and pants (size 32 and up)
  • Women's jeans and pants (size 12 and up)
  • Sturdy shoes, sneakers
  • Toiletries, especially in travel sizes. (Please no mouthwash.)
  • Disposable Razors
  • Backpacks

Rosie's Place
  • Clean, in-season women's clothing
  • Women's nightgowns and slippers
  • New women's underwear, bras and socks
  • Toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes; regular and travel sizes are appreciated
  • Buttons and jewelry
