Neighborhood kids at the homework center.

We'll say it again: We Love Volunteers!

For several years now our Homework Center help has come from dozens of individuals like yourself who have made a lasting impression on the children and teenagers in our neighborhood. The Boston Project believes that young people need life-transforming experiences. Those experiences can come from everyday moments, like learning how to maneuver through an algebra expression, a heart-felt conversation with you, or by playing a team-building game you've come up with! Thank you for your interest in sharing a piece of your life with our young people.

To become a volunteer follow these simple steps:

  1. Read the volunteer requirements and pray about the opportunity.
  2. Fill out the online application (below).
  3. Complete an interview.
  4. Complete a one (1) hour training.

Volunteer Requirements:

Due to the relational aspect of this program and our ministry, we screen all volunteers for the benefit of our young people.

  • All volunteers must have a CORI background check.
  • All volunteers must be willing to support our statement of faith.
  • All volunteers must arrive on-time (typically 3:00 PM) for their day of service unless they have made other arrangements.

Please contact us if you have any questions about volunteering.
