Current Staff Positions at The Boston Project
We are experiencing a growth spurt at The Boston Project in part due to an ambitious God-inspired strategic plan and God nudging many individuals choosing to join us, live simply, and participate in His Kingdom work.You can apply to work with us in a number of different ways:
- Long-Term Staff - Full-time paid positions with a base salary and benefits; 2+ year commitment.
The following Long-Term Position is available:• Director of Development
- Apprenticeships - Full-time positions with significant program oversight working with seasoned professionals; free housing and a financial stipend; 1-2 year commitment. Currently there are no Apprenticeship positions available.
- AmeriCorps - We hire 1-2 people each year through the AmeriCorps program. These positions are paid, and require a one-year time commitment. Please call us for details. AmeriCorps positions available:
• Neighborhood Youth Ministries Staff - next opening begins February 2010
- Academic Internships - Part-time or full-time positions typically for college/university students completing academic requirements; free housing available; 3-12 month commitment. Now hiring for Fall 2010.
• Neighborhood Youth Ministries Intern - next opening begins January, June, or September 2010; semester based.
• Community Development Research Intern - assist in a community research project, studying the history and current national context for neighborhood ministry houses, or participate in creating a sustainable, low-cost neighborhood-based youth ministry model.
• Service-Learning Intern - next opening January, June, or September 2010; join our team to learn how to inspire a multi-cultural hands-on volunteer movement. Learn the behind the scenes management while also directly working with volunteer groups in community-based service projects.

- Summer Staff - Seasonal position leading our summer programs; includes free housing, food, and a financial stipend. Now hiring for over 20 positions for the summer of 2010.
- Individual Volunteers - Join us to work in specific areas of the ministry, such as our Homework Center, ministry mailings, lawnmower repair, computers and technology, public relations, graphic design, etc.
