The Boston Project is excited to join with local partner TechMission to provide opportunities for 2-4 people each year to work at The Boston Project through the Corporation for National and Community Service AmeriCorps Program. These positions are paid, and require a specific time commitment.

AmeriCorps Positions - One Year - Filled

AmeriCorps Positions - 6 Months (March-September 2012) - Now Available

(1) Children's Outreach Worker - The Boston Project is now hiring a Children's Outreach Worker through our Americorps partnership to join our Neighborhood Ministry House team. This full-time, paid position qualifies forstandard pay and benefits including an educational award offered through Americorps. Applicants must be 20 years of age or older. We are looking for a candidate who is gifted and passionate about working with elementary age (5-11) students. You will be involved in leading our after-school Homework Center, planning and implementing daily summer programming for children at a local city park, and overseeing youth interns/employees working at summer programs. Additional responsibilities can include leading youth Bible studies, helping with a parents group, and mentoring youth. Now hiring for a 6-month term beginning March 2012, with the possibility to extend an additional 12 months.

You will be involved in leading our after-school Homework Center, planning and implementing a daily summer youth employment program, and involved in a teen cafe. Additional responsibilities can include leading youth Bible studies, helping with a parents group, and mentoring youth. Now hiring for a 6-month term beginning March 2012, with the possibility to extend an additional 12 months.
