Helping in the homework center.
Here's a brief snapshot of what your week with The Boston Project might look like.

Days at The Boston Project will be filled with a variety of service sites both in our neighborhood and across the city. Some days could see teams doing home repair for the elderly or building maintenance for a church or ministry in our community. Another day may be spent sorting surplus grocery items at Fair Foods or serving the homeless at the Boston Rescue Mission. Teams may also assist with the cleaning of current and future neighborhood park spaces or step in to help a local youth in our twice-a-week Homework Center.

The Boston Project leads many community service and outreach projects, as well as partnering with local churches, shelters, and service organizations to mobilize volunteers in ways that will meet needs in the city and help volunteers learn about the variety and creativity of ministry in this environment.

You'll also get to join us for worship at neighborhood churches, learn about God's heart for service and justice issues in the city, and spend time as a group processing your experiences, worshipping God, and studying Scripture together. You will have a chance to enjoy dinner downtown and some time to explore Boston on your own.

We hope you too will see why we believe that God is doing a new and powerful work here in Boston!
