Overwhelmed
We can only begin to express our thanks and joy as we write to update you on our financial situation.
On Christmas Eve, we emailed to share that we were $4,000 short of our 2008 family support-raising goal. We are overjoyed to share that since then, we have received over $10,000 in support from over 30 families, individuals, and churches - Thank You!
Sarah and I are overwhelmed to the point of tears with the way God has used you to encourage and provide. This is not only an amazing display of God's provision, but an incredible confirmation of God's direction for our family in the coming year.
We are especially grateful for all those who called, wrote, emailed, stopped to talk, donated, and prayed for us. You will probably never know how much God used you to confirm what he is doing with our family, and we thank you.
PROVISION and UNDERSTANDING
Two weeks ago, we asked you to pray specifically for PROVISION for our financial needs and UNDERSTANDING of how God was working. Not only do we have food on the table, but we now see how God used this crisis to place us in a better position to purchase a house than we were before.
Continue Praying
We ask that you would continue to pray for our family in the coming year. We are excited to see what God will do, but as first-time home-buyers, there is much unknown. We are hoping to purchase a house within the first 2-3 months of 2009.
