a Wicked awesome week

Wicked
Last Thursday I went with my friend Laura and some of her roommates to see Wicked. They were able to get some discounted tickets, so we went. It was great!! We had a blast. I highly recommend it. The title of this blog entry is inspired by Paul, who asked me if the show was "wicked awesome".

Park Street Loves Boston
Park Street Church sent about 30 volunteers our way on Saturday for their annual 'Love Boston' church-wide service day. I led a team of 5 college/grad students in service at a local Dorchester church - hauling bags of dirt down from the 2nd church steeple where the Paul Revere bell is- and fliering for free Thanksgiving baskets for families who might need them. My team had a blast together, learning more about Second Church, walking the streets, getting to know each other and eating some great Jamaican food for lunch!

Thankful Day
We also had a huge Being Thankful for My Community Day . That was Monday. (Things are a little busy around here)- I helped coordinate the food for the day with a team of 3 jr. highers from Maine and 3 of our younger neighborhood girls.

Being Thankful Participants.
