Surprise Award
Very...Very...Very surprised and honored today to receive an award for "Excellence in Public Service" from the US Attorney of Massachusetts, Carmen Ortiz, for crime prevention work in our neighborhood. Pictured with me is Bob Francis from Mass Housing. Interestingly, Bob also grew up in this same neighborhood in the 1960's.
Together we work alongside community partners and law enforcement to further the Dorchester Coalition for Great Neighborhoods (the former Washington Corridor Weed & Seed site) focused on public safety and the reduction of youth violence.
