June/July Prayer Requests
- Growth in Summer Youth Employees: We love hiring teenagers to work with us. It is an honor to be their first place of employment and help them prepare for future careers. Pray for our 25 teenage employees that they might grow in their skills and understanding of their life purpose. (We praise God for the provision of funding from 7 different sources to hire youth.)
- Life Change in Mission Volunteers: This winter we thought we were going to have a smaller summer hosting youth missions teams. We were wrong. This will be our largest summer ever! Pray for God to stretch the hearts of the teenage and adult volunteers as they serve others daily and study Jesus' powerful words, "Follow Me."
- Discipleship Strategy: A few months ago we updated you on God leading us to be more intentional about our discipleship efforts. Please pray with us for clear direction this summer regarding our youth Bible study, Real Life, and Bible Club for kids. Also ask God to confirm if we are to begin a neighborhood Bible study this fall for adults.
- Safety in our Home: The summer always adds a bit of stress for our family due to so many people in and out of our home daily - at times 50-75+ people. Due to some recent incidents we are looking into a camera security system. Pray for God's peace in our minds and hearts (especially at bedtime), wisdom in decision-making, and his protection over this neighborhood ministry house.
