Celebrating 12 Years of Marriage

What a joy and gift it was when The Boston Project staff sent Glenna and I off on an anniversary date complete with free childcare and a gift card. Like many couples with three young children and on a tight budget, the opportunity to go out alone is slim.

We headed south of the city to a great restaurant several steps above our typical Friendly's fare. Afterwards we explored a bookstore and while Glenna look at arts and crafts manuals, I read an entire book on the DNA of relationships (by Gary Smalley) - which seemed quite appropriate on our anniversary. As we left the bookstore, Glenna commented, "Paul, why are you so romantic?" (it must have worked!)

We laughed, walked with arms around one another, and conversed about our life in a refreshing way. Glenna even came home with Josh Groban's new Christmas CD Noel. Many thanks to our Boston Project family and to all of you who help support our marriage!
