Remaining Faithful

I'm an emotionally exhausted mom. This past month has been a new trial for us, and we want to ask you to pray with us for our oldest daughter Megan. Megan's transition to the first grade has been bumpy. Her current classroom environment is causing her a fair level of anxiety. She is starting to show signs of physical stress, including finger twitching and trouble controlling her emotions. Recently, she was found crying in the school bathroom, and in the evenings she often asks us to stay home the next day. Her love for school is dwindling. We are trying to be discerning as we talk with Megan's teacher, but wonder how much is too much? On top of all this, her bike was stolen from our backyard Sunday. Given these realities, we really sense the enemy attacking her, and we have been pouring our hearts out to God on her behalf.
Amongst this challenge, we give God thanks. I'm thankful that my daytime Neighborhood Women's Bible Study started again last week. It was so nice to be with such a diverse group of women who love the Lord dearly. After school the girls and I attend Creative Dance and Gymnastics weekly, which have been positive outlets for both Megan and Cady respectively. Paul has been semi-faithful to take Friday's off as his Sabbath (but pray for greater discipline). Your prayers are felt and much needed. They serve as a continuous source of encouragement to us to remain faithful. Thank you!
