Mouse Hunt Part II
As promised I am keeping you updated with the continuing hunt for mice. To be quite honest, I didn't care to record some of the smaller mice that were found in October and November. They just weren't monumental, I mean, you catch one mouse you've caught them all right?
Wrong.
Two nights ago a blood-curdling scream was heard from the first floor kitchen. Jackie insisted that she had just almost stepped on a rat. Either that or a very pregnant mouse. We laughed as she yelled at the mouse... talking to it like it could hear and understand her.
Yesterday morning we found the "rat" (or very pregnant mouse) and suddenly we didn't think Jackie was all that crazy for screaming. The "rat" (or very pregnant mouse) was lying, dead, peaking out from under Kelly's desk. It was large. Larger than large.
We hovered, decided it was officially dead, and put it to rest... somewhere we wouldn't have to look at it.
And so the hunt continues.
Coming soon: pictures of the "rat" (or very pregnant mouse) alongside a pocket new testament and being taken to it's resting place.
