Oh... the holidays

Paul asked us the other day: "What are your favorite traditions during the holidays?" That made me smile. Then it made me make a list:

* We always have other people at our house for Thanksgiving (I mean other than family members). One year we had 5 different tables spread out in our house... before we had the sunroom.
* We like to cook together (Tim does the cranberry date bars)
* Generally we eat for 3 - 4 hours, then people periodically sleep, sing, look at pictures together or play the newest video game that my family is into for another few hours
* On Christmas Eve we stay up rediculously late wrapping presents (yea Tim!)
* On Christmas morning we all fight about who will give the presents out first (usually Becca wins... it's just cause she is so organized)
* Any day over the holidays that we are all together having breakfast, it usually turns into a 2 hour ordeal... and then we start eating lunch
* It's basically about being together.
