Mice, mice and... more mice.

Recently, the bane of my existence (maybe a bit dramatic...) has been MICE. Not only that, but INTELLIGENT MICE!

Part of city living is dealing with these nasty little creatures, but, at my apartment, we are realizing that the longer we co-habitate with our furry friends, the smarter they are becoming. We will put out a trap... and NOTHING! They'll get their snack, and run away unharmed!! GROSS! They are also obsessed with chocolate. When I say obsessed, I mean they ate 3/4 of a chocolate bar in only a few days.

HIlary came home yesterday with words of wisdom from a 7 year old that she nannys for on Beacon Hill on how they dealt with their mice problems. I'm just glad that they have mice problems on Beacon Hill as well! But anyway, his suggestion: "You should just do what my mom and dad did... and get a cat".

So, if you have a cat that you would like to give to 12 Elmhurst Street to help our little (well, our big...) mice problem, let me know :) They are going down!!
