Gobble Gobble!

November for me means one thing: Thanksgiving Baskets. Lots and lots of Thanksgiving Baskets.

Last year, we were able to give away over 65 baskets to families all over Boston as a THANK YOU for all they do! We know that the holiday season can be difficult for families - with all the additional expenses of winter (including heat! yikes! I am just learning how expensive it can be, since I filled up our oil tank yesterday!), something like a big Thanksgiving dinner is the thing that doesn't make the cut. Yet, we all see know how wonderful it is to be with family and friends to celebrate all the things we are thankful for.

This year, we are trying to do over 100 baskets for families, primarily in our neighborhood of Codman Square. We have never done this many before, and it's a little stressful! We still are in need of financial donations, and food donations to make this work. Would you consider making a special gift to help us reach our goal of distributing 100 baskets in Codman Square? I am trusting in God's provision for this one!

In other news, Miami was FABULOUS! I am still processing much of what I have learned, and will write more about it later. Don't you worry :)
