Skiing Adventure!
I'm back after a little hiatus where I went home for the holidays (home being all of 40 minutes north of Dorchester, but still) and saw some family and friends and just rested. Coming back to work meant coming back to PAINTING! and moving and all sorts of business, and things have been exciting around here. We had a new woman join staff (Catrina) and she is living with Kelly, Melissa and I, and it's fun to have a house full of women. We even had a little dance party last night! We have two interns coming this semester as well, one of whom I was on staff with a couple of summers ago, so I am really excited to have a full house.
This Sunday I am going skiing for the FIRST TIME EVER! I am really nervous, but also excited. Hopefully I won't break a leg! A friend of ours here at The Boston Project is a certified ski instructor, so he'll be giving us some quick free lessons, and then off to the bunny slope I'll go. I enjoy being adventurous, so, this will be quite the experience! We're going to Ascutany Mountain in VT, which is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours away, so it will also be a nice day trip away from the city.
Well, off to hang out with the little ones at homework center! Today is their movie party for having good school attendance, and I am stopping by just to say hi and hang out for a bit.
