Be careful if you use a program like mapquest.com for directions to Global Ministries Christian Church. There are three (3) Washington Streets in Boston! We recommend, if possible, that you use the directions below.
Directions to The Boston Project Home
15 Elmhurst Street, Dorchester Center, Massachusetts 02124
From the West (Mass. Turnpike / I-90)
Follow the Mass. Turnpike (I-90) East into downtown Boston area to I-93 South.
From the North (I-95 / New Hampshire / Maine)
Take I-95 South to I-93 South through (underneath) downtown Boston.
From the South (I-95 / Providence, RI)
Take I-95 North to I-93 North toward Boston.
From the East (Atlantic Ocean)

From I-93 (North or South)
Take I-93 to Exit 11B – Route 203/Granite Ave.
The ramp will bring you down to Granite Ave and you can merge into traffic going only one direction. You want to proceed over the red draw bridge and straight through the first set of lights.
Remain on this road until you come to the four way intersection with stop lights. (McDonalds will be on your right and Hollywood Video on your left.) Here you will take a left onto Gallivan Boulevard/Route 203.
You will remain on Gallivan Boulevard through 2 lights. (You will pass underneath a railroad overpass.) At the third set of lights, turn right onto Washington Street. (A building with the name "C. Butts Reality" is in front of you and on your right and left are gas stations.)
Remain on Washington street through 2 lights. (On your right you will pass the YMCA and Global Ministries Christian Church, a brown shingled church building.)
At the third set of lights, turn left onto Talbot Ave. (the intersection has a McDonalds and a big white church) and then take another immediate left onto Norfolk Street.
Travel down Norfolk Street past the Jamaican restaurant on your left and a large cemetery on your right. Immediately past the cemetery you will see a brick apartment building on your right.
Elmhurst Street is immediately after the apartment building (97-103 Norfolk Street) and before a big bus garage. Turn right onto Elmhurst Street.
Our house is the second house on the right – #15 Elmhurst Street. Parking is on the street or in the yard. We try to be sensitive to our neighbors so if possible please don't park directly in front of someone else's house.

Follow directions above, but stop when you see Global Ministries Christian Church, which will be on your right as you travel up Washington Street between the second and third intersection light.
